I’m being very curious about how math solves problems in real life. And I came across trigonometry and probability and algebra and geometry.
While geometry helps with construction and architecture, trigonometry is used to calculate finite details like angles of elevation and depression for navigation, not only that it helps with war zones and fighter planes path calculations!
Similarly probability helps solve numerous problems from determining prices of products to dollars on multinational market trades. Needless to say algebra is everywhere.
I’m so damn sure that without these concepts life would have been struggle and we wouldn’t have made such progress. Reading about artificial intelligence and robots taking over, I want to emphasize that kids find their motivation in math.
Now I conclude this thought by making this my goal , learning new math concepts and their application in real world situations in next few years so I can motivate my peers to do the same.
