I recently saw and crossed a state line , a line between two states. It was fun to notice a welcome sign and a bye bye sign next to each other . Can’t think someone across a street is in a different state. Also noticed how the speed limits change drastically and how the road side tolls change. Yet we are on the same physical zen. And we barely dabble on cool things.
Also just found out that most states have at least one state line except Alaska and Hawaii. Tennessee and Missouri have about eight neighboring states and have eight state lines. Illinois has six neighboring states and now say possibly six state lines. There are 10 other states that also have six neighboring states and they are
- Arkansas
- Idaho
- Iowa
- Nebraska
- New York
- Oklahoma
- Pennsylvania
- South Dakota
- Utah
- Wyoming
To all my neighboring states I have doses of a nice visitor that is me LOL!

It’s cool how your GPS shows state lines. There are also usually visitor/welcome centers as you cross the state line. They can be a fun stop over. Did you know state lines could in the water – like in a river or a lake? Countries have lines too – and they’re called borders. How about a post on borders next time?
Sure thing I will write about borders because I’m finding it very satisfying to write more and more. Yes I know about water borders like in Lake Michigan now I’m also going to think about using this info to new anecdotes. Basically I m more thinking kind haha
