Tell you about a book I read recently. The title is “The Lemonade War” and is written by Jacqueline Davies.
The story line is taking place between a brother, Evan and his smart sister, Jessie.Though they both like to play with each other, they get into a frustrating situation and bet on showing the other they are better. This leads to both competing on selling lemonade during summer and whoever makes more money wins and probably proves that they are the smarter one.
The story has good twists and turns on the strategies they both apply to make more sales.
I really liked to see who would win because of the great plot and interesting characters of kids my age. I was so excited for Jessie, and was rooting for her as I was reading along. I totally could relate to her – she is also very good at math like me. Lol.
I am going to read more stories in this series and review them again. I’m going to say I’m enjoying reading this kind of fiction stories about kids and learning how other kids think and do .
I also want to thank my friend for recommending this book and I recommend this to anyone who wants a good read!
