As we are counting down the year 2020, I’m hereby reminiscing about all this year has brought us and how and what we learned from it. Each and every one of us have different experiences and different perspectives and all of those would be valid too. What I’m writing below is my perspective of 2020.
The first and foremost thing all of us would remember is the COVID-19 pandemic across the world. It has effected each and every one of us in one or the other way. Yet we all made the most and best of what we have . Rising to the occasion, I think was one of the key lessons of 2020. I have noticed and witnessed teams of people around me rising up to help the others and every bit of it totally helps. Examples are high school students volunteering to help little kids with online learning, tutoring and social skills. Several people have been volunteering with making face masks and delivering necessary items to those in need. And all of us staying home and saving lives in spite of having cabin fever. And lastly encouraging each other with positive messages and small talk.
The rest of the year is a result of the impact of the social distancing and closures. I have been particularly using a lot of technology to connect with every one. I made new friends, read new books and played new games .
Here are some of my other write ups from this year.
Overall 2020 has been a historic year for the 21st century and I believe it has taught us to appreciate what we have. I’m grateful for all friends and family that constantly encourage me .
As we close this year and this decade, I am wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2021.
