Each person has a unique perspective of their life. They develop a belief system based upon their own experiences and situations and how they navigate through life. It is vital to gain an understanding of personal strengths, challenges, and their own abilities. As it evolves, it becomes one’s personal philosophy in life. This belief system is significant in one’s life as it defines the way forward for them. With this logic, I have discovered my own personal philosophy. The key aspects of my system are embracing adversity, fearless hard work, optimism and lots of learning.
I have had some great experiences, mentors, and well wishes in my early childhood. I also had intriguing challenges and faced adversity. I had tremendous difficulty with communication. I could neither talk nor type. Everyone around misunderstood me. However, I could think deeply. With my experiences, I asked myself what makes me look forward to my future. I am grateful for the opportunities I had when I was young. I am thankful and inspired by friends and mentors who had more challenges and courage to overcome them. Pondering on the past or present challenges is painful. Moving forward in life doing what I can is fruitful. For me to succeed, I need to work hard every day without losing focus. I love to learn and grow and I have to do this without hesitation. All of this together becomes my personal philosophy of life.
Perhaps people who have quite different experiences do not necessarily agree with my philosophy. I’m optimistic when it comes to my life. I’m asking myself everyday whether I’m going towards my dreams and if I’m doing anything to get there faster. Before making decisions or worrying about life, I now align myself with my personal philosophy. This makes me incredibly hopeful and confident. If someone doesn’t treat me right or deliberately demeans me, I don’t care because I embrace adversity and move forward. I may fail but I will never give up on making my mark.

Hi Abhi. That was deep. And well written. Good job! As you say in your own way, conquering oneself is the ultimate challenge, one we struggle with no matter who we are. I wish you the best in your journey and discovery of “purushartha”.
Thank you. I am still in pursuit.
